As mentioned to you in earlier communications, we are committed to sharing transparent information about COVID-19 topics that may be of particular interest to our team members, customers, dealers, suppliers, and our communities.
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”) will be in effect during the period April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 for certain public employers and private employers with less than 500 employees to provide emergency paid sick leave and expanded emergency family medical leave to their employees. This law also requires that different business units or locations with an operating company be combined together as a “single employer” for purposes of the FFCRA, if they share integrated, common control over things like operations, finance, HR, and other key functions.
Due to our size and integrated operations, ESG team members are not eligible for the expanded provisions under the FFCRA. However, it is important for you to know that the health, safety, and wellbeing of our team members is most important and we will continue to support our ESG team members with our normal leave options and provisions. If you have any special concerns or questions, please reach out to your direct supervisor and/or site HR business partner.
